title: 12VPX NEO and Tailscale
description:
---

The Tailscale control channels may get stuck when using Tailscale and 12VPX NEO simultaneously.

You can prevent this from happening by exempting **tailscale.com** from the VPN using the web interface, the desktop app, or this command:

```
vpx rules add general direct suffix:tailscale.com
vpx rules add general direct suffix tailscale.io
tailscale up
```
